Applying for Exemption from Compulsory Education!

It’s IMPORTANT to notice that Primary Education in Singapore is compulsory, Singaporean Citizens intending to homeschool their children through primary school will need to apply for exemption from compulsory education. This should be done the year before your child is due to enter Primary 1.

Parents will need to obtain the necessary forms from MOE and submit them to MOE, together with a write-up of your curriculum for P1 to P6. When writing your curriculum, keep in mind that your child will need to sit for the PSLE and the National Education Quiz.
